To whom it may concern,

I would like to complain about my subconscious mind, as it appears to be defective, especially in the area of musical choice. Last night, I watched a television program, "UK music hall of fame: the 70s", which featured a wide selection of different, quality music, from ABBA to Zepelin, via the Bee Gees, David Bowie the Clash, Elton John, Pink Floyd, Queen, the Sex Pistols, and Stevie Wonder. As such, I was expecting to wake up with some sort of decent song in my head. It could have been Dancing Queen, God Save The Queen, or anything by Queen, and I would have been happy. However, this was not to be. I also watched Never Mind The Buzzcocks, and my subconscious decided to latch onto a small snippet played there instead, and has been filling my head ever since I woke up with strains of Bucks Fizz's Land Of Makebelief. I would consider it a great personal favour if you could go about having my subconscious taken out and shot, and then replaced. Alternatively, I shall be expecting great karmic reward for this heinous injustice.

Best Regards,
Disgruntled in Lancaster.
