New journals
delirium happy
I've just created two new journals.

The first is rhosleeps which I am going to be used purely for tracking the times that I fall asleep and wake up, to try to see if there's any pattern in them (the idea to do so coming from beginning who mentioned that her sleep patterns are dependant on the phase of the moon). I can't for the life of me see why anyone would want to read this, but if you do then it's there.

Secondly, I've created rhoisnuts which I'm going to use for my charity stuff. It's currenly an open community, so feel free to join it or riend it (current community rules: stay on topic in top level posts; don't be a fuckwit). Once everything is sorted though, I'll be removing members (not friend ofs mind) who aren't donating. The thought behind creating it early, is so that people with ideas can say so in a place where people other than me will see them, and also so that I can talk about it as much as I want without boring people who aren't interested. There's nothing there just yet, but there will be soon, I hope.

Personally I think I might have used an opt-in friends filter for the sleeping thing.. but don't let me keep you from flashing around your many many spare invite codes. And it's a perfect opportunity to prove your huge mass of adoring fans who are hungry for any mention of you, even if its just the time you woke up at.. ;) (Yes.. I friended it..)

I don't like the custom friends group option, for two reasons:

1. I don't like friends only entries. Not everybody has a LiveJournal, and even though I'm willing to give codes to anyone I know, not everyone wants one. This way, on the off chance that anyone without an LJ wants to know about my sleep patterns, they can.

2. If it's a friends group, then i have to maintain it. If people want to see it, then I actually have to add them. This way, they can just look after themselves. Less effort for me is a Good Thing.

And anyway, with LochJournal, it's a simple matter to switch from one journal to another, so it's no extra effort for me either. And like you say, it's not as if I don't have the invite codes.

any thoughts on the ideas i posted?

there's also the idea of going around chopping the heads off flowers. that could follow a morning of giving flowers away in a friendly fashion, scowling around and cutting the heads off daisies...
