Visited counties map

You've seen the countries, you've seen the US states, now see a map of the Great British counties that you've visited! (made by marnanel)

County map
I've visited the counties in yellow.
Which counties have you visited?

I only counted the ones that I've actually stopped in, not the ones that I've travelled through in a car or a train. Some of the English counties, I have a nagging feeling that I must have been there at some point, but I can't actually place any particular time. Essex is the prime offender for this one. I have a very sizable proportion of England, more of Scotland than I would have expected, and a pitiful amount of Wales (though I think I may have been to a few mroe there that I just can't remember).

You have to have visited Essex! Everyone visits Essex at some point! It's unavoidable!

I grabbed this, using the same rules--so, like yours, my map is discontinuous--and decided that, by that principle, it doesn't actually matter whether Heathrow is in Greater London. I have almost none of Scotland; one of these years I shall remedy this, at least to the extent of Edinburgh (and maybe Skye in late June).

congratulations for avoiding wales almost entirely ;)

I'm impressed that you can actually work this out...
