So, a lot of people have been going to see Troy recently. Some people have been giving it good reviews, and some people have been giving it bad reviews. Personally, I've decided that I'm not going to go and see it -- in fact, I would urge all of you reading this to boycot it -- because of the blatant plagiarism. Apparently, there's one bit in it where they make big wooden horse. Now, it doesn't take a genius to realise that this is a blatant copy of the corresponding scene with the wooden rabbit from Monty Python And The Holy Grail, which came out 29 years ago! There truly is no originality ion Hollywood any more.

Probably not, but since it has Brad Pitt in it and since I am a gay man, I am obligated to attend and ogle his half-naked body. It's written into the contract, you know.

Oh, you poor dear. It was a big wooden rabbit, not a horse. I see that Troy's filmmakers are trying to cover up their crimes by changing species. Quite a shame, really.

Seriously, you made me choke. *g*

I think you meant big wooden horse.
You are wonderful, and I love you and want to have your wooly thought-lambs.

Tsk. And the Monty Python rabbit was made of real wood, too! Lovingly crafted by hand! None of this CG nonsense that's so rampant these days. Where's the art? Oh, the tragedy!

Why oh why couldn't they at least develop the python idea, and build a giant wooden badger?

Is it wrong that your subject amused me more than the post itself?
